You may have heard the term "Namaste" used before, or maybe you received it in one of my emails, or saw it throughout the site, but still don't know what it means. As I grew up, it was a word that we used to greet everyone at church, but it has become to mean so much more throughout the years, and is certainly an important part of my daily life. As I was taught, it means that "the light in me beholds the light in you". I like the definition in the picture much better, although it may not mean anything to you yet, unless you yourself are familiar with that place in you in which the entire Universe lies, and accept and recognize that we each are interconnected spiritually, regardless of your religious background or upbringing. You can think of it as a special place in your heart, or the essence of it, and can go to it at any time, identifying with what we could call the "true self", unaffected by the ego (our "false self"), which can love others simply because they are equal to you. You are welcome to "google" the word, and will find very similar definitions or descriptions since, as one, we are all able to tap into it, and are in constant search for it. Please know that, as we share time together, I hope you feel from me that I am aware of, and recognize that universe in you, and we practice how to be one with ourselves and others together. The more your practice how to be one with your self, the more you can incorporate the concept into your every day life, and will have a whole new perspective about the interconnectedness of our universes. Namaste :-).
